Pool Rules

 

Note: All users must provide a mobile number on first booking and also must bring a working mobile with them to the pool hire

 

1. At least one of the booking party must be over the age of 18

2. Each session starts and finishes on the hour and includes the changing time. A booking is not accepted if a booking form has not been fully completed and a confirmation email has been sent

3. Any children not toilet trained must wear a swim nappy.  

4. Please bring appropriate swimming clothing 

5.  It is not recommended to swim if you have health problems. Please check with your doctor if you are unsure

6. No diving or jumping into the pool

7.  No horseplay (pushing others into the pool or dive bombing).

8.  No running around the edge of the pool or in the pool house

9. The chairs are for only for sitting on, not to jump or dive into the pool

10. No hardballs in the pool house

11. No furniture maybe removed from the pool house

12. No one is to use the pool under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

13. Any threatening or abusive language will result in your slot will be cancelled immediately, no refund will be given  and the sender will be blocked

14. Please do not use the green gym mats in the water. They are not floating or surfing tools

15. No food, drink or breakables may be used in the pool or anywhere else including the changing rooms. Only WATER is allowed in the pool house and the property

16. Shoes must be removed prior to entering the pool house and must not be worn under any circumstances in the pool room. If shoes are not removed or the pool room floor is soiled, there may be an additional charge for cleaning.

17. No smoking or vaping is allowed in the property including the driveway

18. To maintain the temperature of the pool and pool house all entrance doors must be kept closed 

19. Anyone using the swimming pool facilities does so at their own risk. It is a private hire. The owners are not going to supervise your swimming session

20. We would also ask that all guests do all they can to remove moisturizes or tanning products before they use the pool.

21. For any bookings, cancellations within 1 week notice of the booked time will be charged at the full amount

22. It is not advisable to bring fake nails to the pool house

23. It is not advisable to swim if your hair is dyed

24. If temporary additional rules are required, such as during the Covid pandemic, these will be considered to be in addition to these rules and must be followed, otherwise a booking may be cancelled, refused or withdrawn.

25. By paying for a slot, the individual that pays (payee) enters into an agreement with the owner of the property at 129 Norwich Road, NR5 0LE, that any damage during that slot (or discovered after that slot), howsoever caused, shall be paid for in full by the payee. The payee will receive written confirmation of the cost of repairs required for any damage and be required to pay for those repairs within 14 calendar days of receiving the written confirmation of the cost of repairs.

26. All rubbish should be taken with guests

27. By sending a booking in or enquiring via email, we will use any data provided for the process of processing and facilitating a booking. We will not send marketing communications by email, phone, text or messaging, for the purposes of promoting our services

28. Occasionally it may be necessary to close the pool for maintenance.  Guests will be notified in advance if it affects their hire and allowed to cancel their booking free of charge if required
